Hey, everybody~. Hopefully your guys' week has been going well. As for mine, well... It's been a busy week, to say the least.

Went to take care of my cousin while his parents were out of the country for two days, and while that caused a bit of stress... hey, at least I got paid to do it! Harhar, I'm a horrible niece. My aunt was the one that insisted upon it, though, so hey.

Of course, I just happened to get sick the following day. Really sick. As in enough to have to go to the doctor's office, wear a face mask and be tested for H1N1. And being tested for influenza isn't a pleasant thing at all.
I just have a really bad cold, at least, so I don't need to worry about dying or anything. XD And a good nights sleep along, eating a bit and drinking lots of orange juice and water helped a lot, so it's going by pretty fast.

On a more positive note, though... My mom had the sudden urge to get a cat or rabbit during this week as well. So during all of this, me and her had been looking at cats and rabbits up for adoption, then decided a cat would be better so we wouldn't give a poor bunny a heartattack with Poe's barking, and have actually managed to find the perfect one: [link]

Her name is Cali, and we're actually going to see her tomorrow. :3 Funny thing is, I was hoping to find a calico or ragdoll, and she just happens to be both. I'm positive we're going to be adopting her, and I'm extremely excited. Now to find a name...

OKAY SO. My mom and I have visited her and oh my god she is the cutest thing EVER. Seriously. Her pictures do her no justice.



Anyways, that was a pretty boring journal. I think having this cold has been messing with my brain a bit, thus anything slightly interesting has been sucked out of this journal. SORRY GUYS.
